Line Numbering on Sales Orders/Invoices

Hi,

Does anyone know of a way to have line numbers appear on screen/paper for Sales Orders, Invoices, even Picking Slips and the like?

It just makes referencing certain items on an order much easier if you can say to the customer, or other internal salesperson, "See line item 27, item A001...".

Any ideas would be a great help.
