Need clarification on DKIM and Campaign Domains

I'm revisiting CRM in NetSuite and reviewing our setup to make sure the best practices are covered to increase delivery rates.  I'm confused by some of the content in the "Campaign Email Domain" and DKIM help articles, specifically:

Even if you do not host your Web store with NetSuite, you should not use your Web store or site domain as your email domain.



and

Even if you do not host your Web store or site with NetSuite, you should not use your Web site domain for DKIM.



We don't use the NetSuite webstore, we have an external store.  What I can't figure out is the relation between webstore domain, our email domain and the campaign domain.  For example, let's say our webstore is
