Can I change a country's name?

I'm using OneWorld and NetSuite calls South Korea "Korea, Republic of".  My users confuse this with the other Korea (North Korea, where I do NOT do business), which NetSuite calls "Korea, Democratic People's Republic" (i.e., these country's official names).

I want my users, and customers (on-screen and on printed forms) to simply see "Korea"....i.e., Seoul, Korea.

Can I change the country name, or is this hard-coded by NetSuite?
