How to create an emailtemplate record?

I try to create an emailtemplate

I get a RerferenceError that this variable is not defined: formatTemplateFields
It works when I try to update an existing record.

According to this spec: https://system.netsuite.com/help/hel...ltemplate.html
Only the name is required. So why it's not working?
