Using Iframes to link old website with netsuite website

I want to integrate my old site with Netsuite so that I don't jeopardise our Ranking. I have been able to do this in test format using Iframes, but people now tell me that this will put my site in more jeopardy on google searches.

Does anyone have any insite as to how I should best proceed? I'm not sure if my web developer is just telling me this so that I have to keep using him to design static html webpages just so that we can keep staying at number 1 on google. there has to be another way around this..
