"Parent : SubItem" instead of just "SubItem" showing after upgrade.

After our upgrade to 2008.1, on our Sales Orders / Invoices / Purchase Orders, the Item Name now shows up as "Parent : SubItem".  Before, it just showed "SubItem", which is what we want.  Does anyone know how to change this behavior?
