Keeping track of pre-Purchase orders.
We are looking for a way to keep track of what we've ordered, but do NOT want to enter a PO as quantities then show an on order quantity...Which we sell. Many of our items are sold 2 years prior to us receiving them/fulfilling them. And, the products we sell are quite often very limited in supply and prices are too dynamic.
Can anyone suggest an alternative way to track what we've ordered, but not have the PO quantity appear until our supplier has said, "Sure! It's yours."? Once the item is confirmed, we can then go to PO - On order quantity.
