Fixed Asset Transfers - Setting Transaction Date?

   Is there some way I'm missing to be able to choose a date for the Fixed Asset Transfer transaction? It defaults to the current date, which in some cases is ok. But in others, users may want to show the transfer as happening at the end of the month for instance. It's not always feasible to know the exact date when an asset transfers so I'm hoping there's just something I'm missing somewhere. Thanks.
