Auto Emailing of Invoice Transactions - Emails Not Being Received

Does anyone know how to ascertain whether the issue is on our (Netsuite) side or on customer side when they are not receiving emails?  Emails are coming from our email address however most likely being sent from Netsuite IP address which might be blocked?
