Elementary Question: How to change/update a Items Stock?

I have a very elementary question: how can I set an Items stock number to 100? Ie, we have 100 items in stock and I want to update NetSuite to know that.

The item is a Kit/Package and has child-items that are all Inventory Items. I'll need to update all of these items stock levels/numbers. Any advice how to do this would be appreciated.
