GL Impact on Item Receipt

I am looking for some info on the default accounts in the GL Impact of an Item Receipt. I'm not an accounting specialist by any means, but I assumed that this default AP/Expense account that is credited upon an item receipt would be in the accounting preferences, however, it is not. Looking in SuiteAnswers only gives me info on a vendor bill. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
