Project Tasks to Project Template Import

Is there a way to import a series of project task directly to a project template? We use the same project plan repeatedly and want an easy way to assign these projects to customers.  I already have the projects built out in excel and was hoping for an easy import in. Is this possible or what would be the best method for this? thanks
