Server Script on Assembly build

edited Jan 8, 2020 2:23AM in SuiteCloud / Customization 4 comments

I'm trying to extract information from a serialized assembly by using a Server script triggered when the assembly is built.

The script triggers and I can get information on the assembly from the body of the transaction. But I really want to get the information about the child items, specifically the item names and the serial numbers to put them into a custom record.

When I try the call:
linecount = newRecord.getLineItemCount('assemblyitem');

linecount = -1 (which I think is an error value??)

I see that there is no 'machine' for this transaction...would that be correct?

Any suggestions or pointers would be good. I also heard that this may be available in 11.0.6 any ideas from NS employees would be good to

Howdy, Stranger!
