nlapiSetFieldValue and Before Load
I have a script that goes and fetch the Currency of a Customer and pastes that value in a text field on a custom record (since for some reason Currency cannot be sourced). Pretty simple. I actually created it to be Client-Side, and it worked fine, but then I realized it needed to be Before Load for x reason.
Here's the relevant bit of the script:
nlapiLogExecution('debug','Currency:',currency); if(currency!=null) { nlapiSetFieldValue('custrecord_customer_currency',currency); } currency definitely has a value in it. I get no errors. BUT, nothing happens. nlapiSetFieldValue is doing nada. As far as I know, this should work on a BeforeLoad script (it specifically states in the documentation that nlapiSetFieldValue works with beforeLoad).
