I haven't had a need until today, but now I REALLY have a need!
I have a workflow where multiple users pluck records out of a list, one at a time for processing. When a user starts to work with a record I update a flag on the record to indicate that it's "in use" so that any other users that try to process it will be blocked.
Now, this works fine and as long as the user uses my processing SuiteLet as designed things are cool, the status is either set to complete or reverted to "ready" (in the case of a cancellation).
