Suitelet ERROR: adding options to sublist select field
I'm trying to populate a dropdown field that resides withing a sublist with some values.
(...) var fieldColor = sublist.addField('color','select','Color','customlist_colors'); var fieldColorMarkup = sublist.addField('color_markup','select','Color Markup','customlist_color_markup'); (...) for(var i=0; i<colors.length; i++) { colorField.addSelectOption(colors[i].getId(), colors[i].getValue('custrecord_color'), false); markupField.addSelectOption(colors[i].getId(), colors[i].getValue('custrecord_price_markup'), false); } I'm getting the following error message:
SSS_INVALID_UI_OBJECT_TYPE That operation is not supported for this type of UI object: select. It is only supported for type: select.
Now, being used to Netsuite's particular brand of error message humour I won't comment on the irony of the wording, but what is wrong here? Are you not allowed to populate sublist dropdowns?
