Find/List Records
I have a small problem and can think of two solutions to it but wondered if someone could help me with.
The situtation is this I have a custom record (support contract) whos autogenerated numbers are VCxxxxxx, I create the custom record based on invoice detail. When the user clicks the Generate Contract button I prompt them asking is this a renewal. If they click yes I then need to know what previous VCxxxxxx number it is a renewal for.
All I need to do is either confirm the value typed manually in a prompt window exists or an even better solution would be to popup a window with a list of all VC numbers on and the user selects one.
