(Scripting for) Customized field in line item
When entering a new PO, I want to find out what is our lowest purchase price before for a given item. So in Enter PO form, I created a customized field in (column) line item called "Lowest Purchase Price". When the user enters EACH item, the scripts shall search and display the lowest purchase price in this filed.
I am new to the scripts or Java even I had experience 10 years ago programming Visual Basic stuff. The questions are:
1. Which event (trigger) I shall use, whether it User Event or Clients Scripts (recalc?)?
2. I appreciate if someone can help some quick codes for me.
