Updating a scripted field
I have added a field to a custom form using SuiteScript. This new field is added in the beforeLoad function.
After the page is loaded, the user may select something on the form which causes an event. When this event happens, I need to update the new scripted field with data based on what the user did. How do I get a reference to this field in an event function (in this case fieldChanged) so that I can update it?
The only function I found was nlapiGetField, but the documentation says it returns a read-only version. How do I get a reference to this scripted field that I can update? Thanks.
