Send Email to Vendor on Digital Download Purchase

Is there a way to automatically send an email to a vendor of a product we will be selling as a Digital Download?

For example, Someone purchases 5 products from us, one being this Digital Download in question. Whenever that product is one that is purchased, I Would like to have an email sent to the vendor of that product.

Is this something done using SuiteScript?
