Can someone tip me on this issue?

I am working on a suitelet script that needs to access the parameters in custom preferences.

so I made the suitelet parameters to be "User" type so our end users can set the values on their own. Yet, so far everything works perfectly fine with administrator role but it never worked correctly with the other roles.

Does somone experience the same issue?
