Customer Map Portlet using Google Maps
I had posted a while back saying that I was trying to make a portlet using jQuery and Google Maps Api and I thought I would post some of the things I learned.
1. It is totally possible to utilize client side scripts and libraries in a portlet. You can use the setScript method in the SuiteScript API, but I found that I needed more than one script, most of the time so I would end up just stringing everything I needed into an inline HTML field on a forms portlet. Like so:
[PHP]
function getMap(portlet, column) {
portlet.setTitle('Customer Map');
