Posting invoices via REST

Hi,

I am trying to post invoices in XML format via a RESTful web service exposed by a custom-written .NET application. I have been able to post invoices in this manner before, but today I have come across an issue whereby if I try to post a number of invoices (between 3 and 5) some, but not all of the transactions fail to post and return an UNEXPECTED_ERROR error code.

Could this be simply the volume of the invoices that I am trying to post at one time, or could it be another underlying issue?

A fast answer would be much appreciated.
