Creating New Customer Records from an existing customer record.

We are in a situation where we need to set up a "Demo Customer" for potential customers.  What I would like to do is create at "Demo Customer" template, call that from a script, copy it and create a new "Demo Customer - X" record.  Is there any easy way to accomplish this in NS?
