Journal Entry User Events Supported?

Hi All, I've created a user event to run after submit of a journal entry. The user event uses the after submit function.

Problem is, it doesn't seem like my script ever fires.. there is no history in the execution log of my script.

Do journal entries not support user events?

My script sources some additional information after the submission of a journal entry and includes this information on custom fields on the journal entry line item.

If journal entries do not support user events, what is the current workaround to accomplishing some post processing after submission of a journal entry?
