Search Engine Optimization Best Practices / SEO

First all of this IMHO (In My Humble Opinion) If you think what I says is wrong, let me know, no worries. I have been doing SEO for 2 years. My knowledge and site rankings were built prior to moving to NetSuite. Our site was converted to NetSuite on August 22 2007. At that time, we had top 5 rankings on each of our top 20 "money phrases". Those money phrases are measured on both PPC and SEO so we know what make the $$$.

My motivation here is to try to clear up some of the myths about SEO and in particular help clear up questions on SEO within the NetSuite web store. What I am posting here will not get you to p1 on Google tomorrow. If you want to get to the top fast, get a link from msnbc.com, msn.com, wsj.com, etc. If you can do that, you will not need any of the stuff in this thread.
