Incorporating Blog and/or Forums on NS site

Hello,

I'm wondering if it is possible to build a Forums area (much like this site) and/or a blog type feature into a NS hosted website. Has anyone done anything like this with custom records or is it just easier to maintain those pages off of NS in some other packaged software?

We would like our clients to have access to these areas, so it would be nice to not have them log into a different area of the website for the forum postings.

If anyone could post any tips or point to example sites, I would appreciate it.
