Sales territories are defined by state...but state cannot be made mandatory????
I know, 2 post along the same lines, but not sure where else to get a sanity check from other users....
Our Sales territories are defined by the state field. Fairly typical from what I understand. However, there is no way to require the state field because it is part the the address field group that we have limited access to modify.
Sure, I can create a custom field called state and make it mandatory. I could define the sales territory rule to be based on the custom state field. However how would I populate the standard address field for state? My end users are telesales and unless a field is mandatory, it isn't getting filled out.
