Export order / invoice to csv from order form?

Is it possible to export a sales order as a csv or excel file from within the record?  We have customers that request sales order data in excel or csv format.  I know we could build a saved search and export the results that way, but it's usually on an order by order basis.  It would be more convenient if the sales person could click a button and download (or better yet, send it as an email attachment to current customer).  Anyone know how I could go about doing this?
