How to test scheduled email saved searches?

Before sending out an email to customers, I want to test what the email looks like for some test customers using real data. Can someone explain the recipients from results tab of the scheduled email and how I can use it to send emails to myself (rather than the actual recipients)?

Also, is there a way to schedule these tests so I can see the emails immediately?  It looks like all scheduled email happens only once at 2am PT so I'm not sure how you build and test?
