Budget Searches

I'm trying to perform a budget to actual search, however it appears the field options are very limited.  First, I see no fields that allow you to bring in actuals, and also, the period appears to be restricted to a year, not a monthly period.  I've also tried bringing in budgets into a transaction search with no luck.  Any help with someone who has done this would be appreciated. Thanks,
