Saved Search Email Alert When Field Changed To Specific Value
I am trying to get an email alert sent to a specifi email address when the case status value is changed/updated to a specific value. I only want the alert to go out when the case is initially changed to this specific value.
I have a saved search that returns results only for cases with this specific case status value. I tried setting up the email alert on this saved search to send on create/update. I was hoping create meant when the record first became a result in this saved search (due to the cases status value change) but I'm guessing this is actually when the new case record is created, not updated. I also thought about using the update fields but do to some current and possible future organization practices, this is not efficient for us. We have a large number of
