Formula for Opp Create Date Before Close Date

I've had a lot of good luck with posting requests for numerous formulas on this forum so I'm hoping you can come through for me again!

I need a data formula that will return only opportunities created prior to the customer's close date.

End Result:  Need a list of opportunities that are true "new clients" and not just win-back or returning clients and the only objective way to do this is to use the Opp's Date Created and the custom field on cust record (Close Date).  

Has anyone had any experience with this that can help me out?
