We have a search which returns items and non-inventory items on open sales orders not billed. We can pull through the "name" of non inventory items (our part code), but the "display name" (or description) of the non inventory item is manually entered per transaction line in the sales order. So on different transaction lines in the sales order, the display name is unique and not equal to the display name in the non-inventory item record.
