Custom Search for "No User Notes Entered Within Last 30 Days"

I have the following criteria set:

Sales Rep = "person's name"

User Notes: Date = Not on or after (relative) 30 days ago

I have played with the "user notes: date" criteria and can't seem to get netsuite to recognize what I am trying to do.  When I run this search it shows accounts that have notes that are timestamped from yesterday or a few days ago.  It's as if its not registering that I do not want accounts with notes entered on or after 30 days ago.  I must be missing some kind of criteria or am not inputting this correctly.

Any help here would be much appreciated.
