SMS Messaging via NetSuite Saved Search
The organization I work for has just went live on NetSuite. I am the administrator. Android is not supported for the mobile application. As a result, push notifications cannot be sent to personnel in the field. So, I have reverted to using a saved search where an email is sent to a destination address. That email is then forwarded to an sms email address (e.g. 1234567890@vtext.com) via a rule setup in Outlook. After several hours of testing I have noticed that SMS messages received via the Verizon network are truncated. The subject of the message and who sent it along with a partial time stamp appears in the SMS, but the body of the email message is not displayed. Other carriers display the message in full.
