Control of Work-In-Process Goods

I'd like to control Work-In-Process goods in our inventory (for both q'ty and price value).
We're in manufacturing business. So we have various type of inventories such as after lathing, after stamping, after plating and so on.
...It means 1 item have various stock value upon each process.

As I looked for NetSuite Help, I found similar function as I expected on "Assemblies". But it's not available for our NetSuite Small Business and our manufacturing is not exactly assembly.
On the other hand, "Kit/Package" function seems not good enough for our process.

What I would like to implement is as follow example:
