item barcodes for multiple units
I've been reading a bit on NetSuite and using units of measure to track the same item by different quantities, which is exactly what we need in some cases. For instance, we have a widget that we buy in a "case" of 12 and sell individually. All good, except for one thing: when receiving, I'd like to be able to scan the i2of5 barcode on the case without losing the ability to scan the UPC on the individual item during fulfillment. It almost seems like I'd need two separate item records to accomplish this. I can add a custom field
