Kits more headache and frustration than they are worth
kits are really beating me up. Every time I turn around to do something I find a limitation that is really quite serious.
For example:

[*]Can't set any inventory level data like reorder point, preferred levels, etc.
[*]Can't see how many you have parts for. The workaround is to create a sales transaction and enter a huge quantity then take note of the error message that says how many you CAN make
[*]Can't transfer them from location to location[/LIST]What a useless mess!
Assemblies are nice and powerful but for low-value, high volume items they carry quite a bit of maintenance burden.
