Report or Search of Inventory Items which have not sold within certain time frames?

Has anyone written a report, or search, to identify inventory items which have not sold in variable time frames (last 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, etc.) and include the Current Quantity on Hand as well as Current on Hand Value for each item?  I placed a call with NetSuite Support and this could not be done by customizing a search or report.  This seems like this should be a simple inventory management type report.
