Lot Numbered Items
G'day,
I am reviewing the feasibility of lot numbered items.
The company purchases for a specific order and thus would like those purchase costs to post to COGS with the Item Fulfillment (IF).
They currently utilise Special Orders which appears to be compatible with lot numbered items - as the IF can't be processed prior to the corresponding Item Receipt (IR).
I have a number of questions:
* When Lot Numbered Items is enabled, does it apply to all items, types of items or specific items? Only require it to apply to all steel products which are currently the Inventory type items. Will have Service & Other Charge Items that we don't wish to have the lot numbered feature.
