Enable Advanced Bin Management

Hi, we have lot number implemented and want to turn on advanced bin management feature. May I know the steps to implement advanced bin management and also want to know the cons if we turn on it, as we already have lot number feature now. And, how does it effect lot number?

Any suggestions will be much appreciated.
