Subsidiary restrictions but allow other locations to be seen?

Hello,

Was hoping to get some help on this.

Got a central warehouse and several subsidiaries.

If you check on item records while using a role that is set to a specific subsidiary you are only able to see your own location and not other locations.

Even marking the "Allow cross-subsidiary record viewing" seems to do nothing and I would not be very keen to even use this option as it grants access to a lot of other information irrelevant for warehouse staff.

Is there a workaround to give access to see inventory across all locations without changing subsidiary restrictions on the role?
