Inventory with Zero Value

Hi,

I'm new to NetSuite and found some issues that we need assistance with.  When we were reconciling our inventory, we noticed that the inventory value was reconciling, but our units were very off.  In doing further research, we identified that there were sales (item fulfillment) that had no GL impact (zero COGS), where as some did.  A large majority of these type of transactions occurred the month after our implementation of NetSuite and our WMS.

Basically, our employees in the DC found items not counted during implementation, and had them setup in NetSuite and our WMS, but they set them up without a cost.  As a result, we've had transactions with zero value.  Also, we currently use average cost to value our inventory.
