Tag for Custom Entity not workinmg in Mail Merge

Hi

I have been using NLTAGs for custom fields in tempaltes for emails and marketing campaigns.

E.g. I have a custom entity field NLCUSTENTITYSALUTATION which holds how I want to address someone i.e. Andrew, or Mr Nicholson, or Dr Smith

This field works OK in an email template. It is not working when I upload the same code within a marketing template and send it as a marketing campaign.

I thought I had this working in the past - was I dreaming, or should I be able to get the same code to work in a marketing template that is uploaded to Documents/Templates/Marketing Templates and is sent via a comapign?
