Will campaigns automatically recognise duplicate email addresses?

If I send a campaign to a Customer Group and Contact Group and there are some email addresses that are duplicated (i.e. the Contact for Customer X has the same email address as Customer X) will Netsuite send out two emails to the same address or will it supress one?
