Customer Saved Search based on {lastvisit} and {visits} - does anyone know how?

Does anyone know how to get to the lastvisit and visits fields on the customer record?

{lastvisit} and {visits} in a customer search come up as FIELD NOT FOUND - but the field is there and would be massively helpful for a customer group based on the most recent activity!

Help!?!
