CyberSoure Refunds
We've recently moved from PayPoint over to CyberSource.
In PayPoint, all refunds had to be supplied with a reference number from the original sale, without this PayPoint would not do the refund - they would also not refund over the value of the original transaction.
After moving to CyberSource, we have discovered that they have none of these protection methods in operation - you can simply refund how much you wish to any card you with, regardless of how the original amount was charged.
We do all our refunds as Customer Refunds, and thus we have no immediate link back to the original transaction in order to port this data through.
