I'm a total newbie at Netsuite, although an experienced programmer.
I have a new Netsuite test account, and I'm trying to set up some of the samples to run. PHP at first, then Java next, and eventually raw XML.

I know I have my config correct, because I can successfully run the PHP sample 'search.php' and get a long list back

However, when trying the sample 'addCustomer.php', I'm getting a consistent response of:
<platformCore:message>Please enter value(s) for: Subsidiary</platformCore:message>

I assume this has something to do with how my NS account has been configured. It's pretty much unconfigured, out-of-the-box. Any suggestions here would be hugely appreciated!
