Can Netsuite pick the correct tax code based on Item as some items are subject to different tax rate

Sales tax codes are picked up based on shipping address zip code. But within the same zip code there can be different tax rates applicable to different items. Example: Alcohol, cigarettes can be subject to higher sales tax rates. How can we configure Netsuite to pick the correct tax code based on a combination of Zip code and Item nature?
